The Most Iconic Fashion Movies Of All Time

Fashion!! Fun!! Frivolity!!

Yes!!! These are some of our favorite words that spring on our minds when we hear Fashion Movies.

Since most people think all fashion movies are women-centric, we are here to break that stereotype.

There are fashion movies that come packed with all kinds of life lessons, from surviving in a cutthroat world of an office competition to surviving the high school bullies.

We have covered all sorts of films on this list.

So, all you have to do is open Pirate Bay, type the name of the movies, and download them one by one to prepare your March Movie Watchlist.

1: The Devil Wears Prada

‘You sold your soul to the devil when you put on your first pair of Jimmy Choos.’

You must know what movie we are talking about. Indeed, this iconic dialogue reminds us of one of the fashion classics: ‘The Devil Wears Prada.’

Anne Hathway serves as an assistant to a prestigious fashion magazine editor, Meryl Streep. However, her naive, child-like personality is soon turned upside down when she feels the actual competition in the fashion world.

The movie not only comes predisposed with ample fashion advice but also takes on a real-life roller coaster to the business world.

2: Clueless

‘Do you prefer fashion victim or ensembly challenged?’

This classic dialogue of Cher can only remind us of the teen fashion drama; Clueless.

The movie’s first scene where Chere tries out different ensembles on a model on her computer to select her outfit for school gives us major fashion goals.

Alicia  Silverstone looked stunning in all those outfits, but her girl gang also gave us some true inspirations to choose outfits for all events in a day, starting from a gym class ensemble to a party look!

3: Cruella

‘That necklace is the reason I’m dead.’

The movie keeps the audience hooked from the opening scene of this 2021 Fashion classic.

Estella is a clever young grifter who wants to make a name for herself in the fashion world, but things change when she meets a pair of thieves, and the trio starts taking London Street by storm.

Her fate changes when she meets fashion legend Baroness Von Hellman and transforms into revenge-bent Cruella.

4: Coco Before Chanel

‘Before me no one would have dared dress in black.’

We know what you are thinking, and if you think which fashion legend said it, Coco Chanel is the name you should be looking for.

Young Coco Chanel spends her days juggling between her two jobs as a cabaret entertainer and as a seamstress until she meets a wealthy man and becomes his lover and fashion advisor.

Soon, she realizes that women’s fashion could be much more than flowery hats and tight corsets and begins exploring her lover’s wardrobe to give birth to the Parisian Haute Couture.

5: Sex And The City

‘We keep dresses we’ll never wear again, but we throw away our ex-boyfriends.’

If you love a film about fashion, friendship, traveling, and fun for women of all ages, Sex, and The City should top your watchlist.

Even though the film is not centered around fashion, Carrie Bradshaw’s obsession with wearing fashionable clothes and building a perfect closet resonates with us.

In fact, Samatha’s outfits are also pretty cool for a boisterous and bold lady.

6: Phantom Thread

‘You can sew almost anything to the canvas of a coat.’

Reynolds Woodcock and his dear sister, Cyril, situate at the center of the 1950’s British Fashion hub, London.

Many women come and go from Woodcock’s life until he meets Alma.

It leads to unexpected disruptions in his life and if you want to know what happens to the most eligible bachelor in London, watch this film right away.

7: The September Issue

‘There is something about fashion that can make people very nervous.’

It is a story of Anna Wintour, the renowned editor at Vogue who has to release the magazine September Issue under a lot of pressure.

Wintour knows what the readers want, so her ideas are always successful.

But, will the September Issue turn out to be in her favor? You must watch the movie to find out.

Be Fashionable!

If fashion movies had made a benchmark in Hollywood, these movies would have topped the list.

We have scoured the internet and our inner fashion spirits to make this list as perfect as possible from the angle of fashion and storyline.

So, take some time off and watch them learn a little more about fashion than you already do.
