Washing Machine Brands to Avoid: Choosing a Front Load Washer

Is there anything more frustrating than opening your washing machine to see that your clothes still aren’t clean?

You’ve likely got to replace your washing machine. A front-load washer is often the best choice for your laundry loads. But before you choose any old front-load washer, you need to do a bit of research.

With so many options available, there are many washing machine brands to avoid altogether.

Here are our recommendations for finding your laundry appliances.

1. Summit

While Summit is one of the most popular washing machine brands, many models have major issues.

One of their most popular models is the SPWD2201SS. It often takes longer for a single washing session. This is true even if you have a lighter load.

Likewise, a drying session can last up to six hours! While you can adjust the time, it often only gives a complete dry if it runs for six hours.

There have also been issues regarding water levels. This model only sometimes fills up with adequate water. As a result, you’ll need several spins to remove all the stains.

In such a scenario, you might have to remove stains manually and can’t depend on the machine to do the full job.

2. Samsung

You may love your Samsung Android, but the company needs to make better washing machines!

While there are many great models, there is a plethora of mediocre washing machines made by Samsung.

One of their most recent models is the WA45M7050AW/A2. This model has been a major disappointment, and we wouldn’t be surprised if it gets recalled!

The internal infrastructure can be damaged easily after several uses. Maintenance and repair jobs are often not readily available.

Often, the timer will last much longer, and one must continue the process. This leads to the washing machine needing to be more used.

3. Equator

This brand has been a staple in many American households. However, more and more, Equator has been putting out awful washing machines.

You must avoid the EZ440024. You can’t adjust the water level as you wish. It only works for smaller loads, so you’ll have to overuse it if you’re in a larger household.

Even then, it often takes several loads to clean your laundry completely. One expects other Equator models to have the same fate.

So what’s the best choice?

While there are some bad models, Whirlpool overall offers the best options for front-load washers. You can click for Whirlpool products to find a great washing machine.

These Are the Washing Machine Brands to Avoid

Now you know which washing machine brands to avoid and their major issues.

Popular brands like Summit, Samsung, and Equator have been putting out great washing machines. However, they’ve now released many newer models that also don’t do the job.

These washing machines require multiple spins and are less robust than previous models. The best option is to stick to Whirlpool, which has the best track record for washing machines.
