5 Reasons Why You Should Get A Bread Maker

What do bread makers do?

Technology has come so far, and it has brought us so far, too. Technology has vastly improved our kitchens and now meals take us half the time it used to take, sometimes less. These inventions mean more people want to get cooking, baking, and making food from scratch because it simply does not take as long as it used to.

One of the inventions that contributed to this is bread makers.

These machines are simply there to make bread for you, or at least they help you. We love bread, and it is one of the most consumed foods on the planet. However, most of us do not have the time needed to sit there and go through the whole process, and this is why these machines were invented.

Why should you get one?

You can buy bread from markets, sure, but it just is not as good. It doesn’t taste as good, it doesn’t have that fresh warmth, or texture, and it is simply healthier to make it yourself too. You can optimize it to your tastes and preferences, and even come up with entire new recipes!

Bread makers make it easier for wannabe bakers to take the reins and make their own bread, giving them greater control of what delicious dough they put in their bodies.

Choosing a bread maker for you is not easy though, with so many that it can be hard to choose, check out to find the perfect break maker for you.

For now, though, let’s look at why you should get a bread maker in the first place.

#1. Ease.

We are all about simplicity nowadays. With technology, we no longer want to take the hard road. While it is fulfilling, we do not want to spend hours in the kitchen slaving over a doughy treat, not when we have to work to sustain ourselves, and have families to look after too. Bread makers make it easier for us to continue our love of baking without all that time slaving away in the kitchen.

They are easy to use as well, and most of them are almost fail-proof. You just pop your ingredients in there, press a few buttons and a few hours later… BAM! Fresh bread.

#2. It’s just cleaner.

Just like we want ease, we also adore the prospect of mess-free tasks. Baking bread by hand from scratch is a very messy task. There is flour everywhere, even in your hair. Yeast on the counter, eggshells lying around. It’s catering chaos, and we do not want that clean up. Using a bread maker avoids that.

Using a bread maker, there is less mess and a simple clean-up. Other than having to clean a few measuring utensils, all of your mixing and baking is done in one pan. It’s much easier to clean!

#3. Saves you on kitchen time.

Remember we said that we just do not have the time to be in the kitchen for hours cooking? Yeah, that’s one of the main reasons people will get a bread maker. A bread maker means you do not have to knead the dough, wait for it to rise, knead it again, and bake it.

You just pop all your ingredients into the bread machine and let it do all of that for you. It is so much easier, and you can use your spare time to do other things, get some chores done, some work, or just take some much-needed downtime while the machine has you covered.

#4. Eliminates not-so-healthy preservatives.

If you are thinking about your health, you will probably be aware that while preservatives do good for the shelf life of products, they are not all the best for our health. Eliminating preservatives from some of our foods makes them so much healthier.

So, if you are trying to maintain a healthier diet, then a bread machine can have you baking whole wheat, multi-grain, or gluten-free, and all without any of them nasty, unhealthy preservatives!

#5. Make more, save more!

Let’s finish up with another reason. Okay, the bread maker will cost you, as will electricity. However, in the larger scale of things, it is cheaper than going to the store and buying a loaf each week or twice a week. A bread maker can last years, or even decades if you want, and so all you need to buy on repeat is the ingredients, which are very cheap and will last. It is just so much cheaper in the long run.
